I’m stuck between 2 dresses!

Ladies, please help me! I am sick over making this decision and have no luck deciding. I am having a barn wedding this October. My fiancé expressed he likes less poofy dresses, so I tried a mermaid on a whim, and despite feeling like I was always too large to wear something like this, I loved it! But I also always envisioned myself in a romantic flowy dress and also love this other one. The mermaid is sparkly with subtle glitter that catches the light with gorgeous color, very bridal and grown up. But the a-line has sparkly beading and would allow for more room to move, but be scratchy under the arms. Both have pros and cons, but I am dying over this decision. I thought I was going to pick the mermaid, but I keep going over pictures and get more and more confused. HELP!I’m stuck between 2 dresses! 1

    I like the first but its seems like you already made a decision because the key word going back to. Its look number 1 is your choice. Pick what makes you smile the most picturing yourself walking down to your FH.

    I think they are both lovely and you don't look large in either dress. How long have you been thinking about this decision? Can you take another week or two to think about it or do you need to make a decision quickly?

    The mermaid for sure. You look terrific in it and you seemed to be leaning toward that one just by how you were talking about it.

    They are all lovely on you. i like the third one better though but i think whatever you end up choosing you will be so pretty in

    Both dresses are really pretty, so no matter what, you can't go wrong. Personally, I like the A-line. It also sounds like that was what you originally envisioned too. My fiancé had similar opinions on the mermaid vs ballgown styles, and the best advice I heard when picking a dress is that no matter what, your fiancé loves you and is going to think you're beautiful. Plus, he's only ever seen wedding dresses on models/ other people, and seeing YOU in a wedding dress, regardless of the style, is going to blow his mind. Choose the dress that makes you feel the most beautiful Smiley smile

    Ps. I see your fiancé mentioned he doesn’t like poofy dresses...


    I don’t think the last dress is “poofy” and he is PROBABLY assuming a poofy dress is some sort of Cinderella type poofy ball gown, which that dress is not. He also may not understand the comfort of having a loose fitting gown (not having to suck in all night ha! And being able to wear certain undergarments that make the entire night more comfortable). I’m not trying to say your fiancé is insensitive, not at all, but he may not understand all the ins and outs and all that goes into wearing a dress.

    Also, if you decided to go with the flowing dress, once it is altered, it wouldn’t be as voluminous or “poofy”

    I was in the same situation as you and so I did both my ceremony dress is the poofy ball gown my reception dress is the fit and flare . Is it an option to have both? I love the mermaid you look stunning
