I’m so excited about my dress!!!

Jameelah, on August 17, 2019 at 11:37 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 27
I 2 got sashes added to the top of my dress instead of around my waist because of how the seams are on the dress in the waist area. So after DB added the sashes, there was a small gap between the middle rhinestones. After thinking of how I could correct this, I an idea...a brooch!! I found this brooch on Etsy and it for perfectly!!! What do you all think??

I’m so excited about my dress!!! 1

I think that looks very pretty. Definitely unique. Will you be wearing jewelry at all since this part is there?

Thanks! My earrings are long and a little big, so I’m not going to wear a necklace. Just a bracelet and earrings.

I love what you did to the dress. I've been thinking about adding something to the neckline of my dress, I was wondering how much did that cost? I also got my dress at David bridals

Thanks!! The sashes were $100, I had to get 2, and the alterations were about $60 I believe. The brooch was only $11 with shipping. I still have to get the brooch attached. I just had it pinned on there in the pic.

The embellishment came out beautifully done, nice in proportion to the dress. And the pendant broach was a great idea for an add on. Terrific change to the dress! What color are the stones?

Depending on what needs to be done to the dress lol but it is nice to be able to do something to the dress to really make it your own! The most expensive part of the alterations for my dress was the hemming I'm 4'9 lol even the petite dress was still to long on me lol

That’s a pretty neckline, it reminds me of those couture Eve of Milady extravagant ballgowns! I love it.

We were looking and guessing. I guessed clear and faceted glass with a silver foil backing. Friend said, flat matte white backing. They have a beautiful antique, or Victorian look perfect with the princess bodice and simple lines.
