I'm so bummed.

Stacy, on March 19, 2022 at 6:42 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 28
My colors are "Peach Coral" and "Turquoise" what was I thinking? 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ the colrs are very difficult to find in unique designs. I happen to come across a dress that is absolutely perfect for my outdoor beach wedding but that was all I was able to find. I've google lens'd it gone to the 2 stores online that pinterest says sells it, it's like it just vanished. Even if I could find the material, I'd have them made. I've search every keyword possible to find this. I'm at the point that I'm willing to pay the first person to find it. I'm disappointed that I may need to change colors. 😥I'm so bummed. 1

This dress is by the designer Betsy and Adam. It looks like it was from several seasons ago, so it likely is no longer being made. You may be able to get lucky and find a used one on eBay, Etsy, etc. Or you could have a seamstress make one for you. Some alternative options would be to just choose one of the colors to wear (either coral or turquoise) because there will be a lot more options available to you - then you could have your bridesmaids in the other color, you could wear the other colored jewelry, or have both colors in your bridal bouquet. Another option would be to purchase a white dress and have it dip dyed (like these following photos):

So you want a dress like that for yourself (not your bridesmaids)? I love your colors, definitely don't change them just because you can't find that exact dress! Since it's such a unique color, you may have luck if you don't narrow your search to bridal designers. Search on Etsy and perhaps prom dresses. You can also get a dress that's just one of those colors and get a belt or overskirt in the other color, since it may be hard to find both together.

Thanks so much for your suggestions. Yes, I'm including the solid color for the other ladies but want this for Matron of honor. I'm including my bridal vision board and have found everything but this particular dress. I've searched, gradient, ombre etc but nothing comes close to this dress because there's no integration of white, which isn't in my color scheme, so it throws everything off. The white you see in the pics will be tea dyed ivory. The cap sleeves were added for visual effect and the bubble girl dress will be made in turquoise. This is a lesbian wedding, gender neutral attire for wifey 😊 At least I have a name to search now 🤗 I really appreciate your helpI'm so bummed. 7

Thank you, yes, the majority of my wedding party is coming from Etsy, great minds think alike, 😁 this dress is giving me the blues. I've stopped searching strictly for bridesmaids dresses because for my taste, they're generally bland, boring and pretty much all look the same just different colors. I've searched tyedye beach dress, boho chic, ombre, gradient and on and on and on. Nothing with just these two colors, it's either integrated with white or other colors as well. Thanks so much for your ideas. ❤🙏🏾

Oh, I’m sorry… I totally misunderstood. I thought you were saying you wanted that dress for YOU to wear!

I think you need to be more flexible and think of other ways to put both colors on your MOH. Both of them in an ombre with no white is very specific and it seems you may not find it. How about she wears the same dress as the bridesmaids, but with a coral sash?

Jasmine, you are correct!!! I'm a very specific person, that's how I usually get my way 😁 after I beat my head against the wall a little longer, jk, really though, I have been looking for other options but nothing compares to this so I'm exhausting all avenues before giving up. Google lens can't even find it used. Must have been a very popular dress. That's IT! I'm calling Betsy and Adam on Monday to find this material! 🤣😂 thats for the inspiration this morning

Hi dont change your colors darling. Just add other colors to complement the peach and turquoise. Creams and gold baby blues will go nicely with your colors

Hi Ebonie, thank you. When you say add colors to compliment are you sayining add those colors to the bridesmaids dresses? Do you have an example?

So I was having the same problem. My wedding is in the fall. So I chose orange and gold tones to offset having too much of one color and it allows me to choose multiple other color options to coordinate my entire my wedding. So everything will be cohesive if you add complementing colors to the colors you already have. Here's my color scheme. I built my wedding around these colors. But not everything will be orange or gold or cream and white. I have brown tones as well. Hope this helps

I have the same color pallette. Here is the dress I made for my attendants, their bouquet, the guys shirts (they will wear super light tan pants). The other pictures are my table centerpieces mock up, but I will use the pinterest inspired glass cylinder look. Hope this helps a bit.

According to this website(https://wheretoget.com/look/766643#) , the original style number from Betsy and Adam for this dress is A13626 and it originally retailed for $398. Based on another bride in a different forum choosing that dress for her bridesmaids eight years ago (https://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/cake-design-1/), unfortunately I think the chances of finding the dress are pretty slim. I checked poshmark, but didn't have any luck; you could also look on ebay, mercari, or FB marketplace. If you do call the designer, having the style number should help. All the current postings I can find appear to be knockoff websites I wouldn't recommend ordering from. Prom designers usually don't keep producing dresses for more than one six month season, which makes them a lot harder to hunt down than wedding gowns!

Hi! So I actually found one on Poshmark (it's a size 6, not sure what size you'd need) https://poshmark.com/listing/Betsy-Adam-OrangeBlue-Ombr-Halter-Dress-61216efe67bd9197443ccc0d#utm_source=gdm_unpaid

I also don't know if that seller is active, BUT usually once you find one, you can start to search for similar ones from there.
