    Start by deciding on:

    Budget

    Guest list rough draft

What season/month you want to get married in

Then you can find a venue that fits those three things. Once you have a venue, you can start booking other major vendors like photography and catering.

Start by looking at venues - make a list of when you think you would want to get married - season, indoor/outdoor, theme (rustic, Modern, elegance etc.. budget, start dress shopping now ! Lol

There isn’t any specific way to plan but ours wasn’t difficult I feel like once you start every thing else falls into place, just tough getting the ball tolling

I would start with creating a budget and a rough guest list so that you know how much you can afford to spend and that you pick a venue large enough to accommodate the number of people you plan on inviting. Once you have created a budget and rough guest list then I would start looking at venues. I used The Knot wedding planning book and found it very helpful. My mom bought it for me and gave it to me the day I got engaged. I definitely think it is worth the money because it has all sorts of checklists, questions to ask vendors, and places in include contact information for each vendor. Everything is all in one convenient place.

Listen to these lovely helpful people, that’s what I did. I started with a rough budget, then rough guest list. That was I was able to figure out the venues in our price range. Once you start calling and visiting venues everything just kind of rolls along. Photography and DJ were important for me to do next since I’m an October bride. They get booked faster. Then dress, which then helped with a ton of the other choices like shoes jewelry and flowers. Don’t worry it’s not as impossible as it sounds in the beginning!
