I'm planning my wedding with help from a few family members, but most of it is on me. Just wanted to know if you have any tips! Thanks!

Book your venue in October to December they have lots of deals during those months. I know that picking a venue that far in advance sometimes seems odd but it will ease some of the wedding planning stress and be nicer on the budget.

    Hey, Alex!

Were booked at the Estate at New Albany off off Forest Dr. (behind the New Albany Ballet Company and Marriot New Albany off Johnstown Rd.). All inclusive (except photographer, invites and attire), and very nice Smiley smile

Now! Also we decided to spend more money on the photographer/videographer/our wedding rings than anything else as those are the things that last forever- is also book the photographer and videographer once you finalize a date /after you get the venue

I am getting married in June of 2020 and I just booked our venue. Because we are doing destination, I wanted everything planned very early (tip: make sure you look into any room blocks you may need for your wedding. Depending on where you are, you will want to secure those early as well). Happy Planning!

It's never to early to book your venue. We booked our venue right after getting engaged (a year away from our wedding). We had to change our date, because the venue we wanted was already booked the weekend we originally wanted. Take into consideration when booking: cost, amount of guests, and date availability.

If you book your venue now you can also book your dj, baker, photographer etc etc at today's price. A lot of vendors raise their prices yearly so you will avoid any rate changes.

The sooner the better! June is one of the more popular marriage months, and there are only four weekends available in a month!

I got engaged 11/2/18, getting married 6/13/20; and booked my venue in December 2018. Luckily I had done a ton of venue research at work due to planning an office holiday party so I already had an idea of prices. Once engaged, I sent out a ton of inquiry emails to venues. I only scheduled visits at venues I could afford. I booked the 2nd venue I visited.

I’m getting married in June 2020 and we’ve already secured our venue. I’d get that done soon. You can’t really start planning until you have a budget and a venue.

I had to postpone our wedding from 9/1/19 which was 9 days before my birthday. So I picked another day that wil be special for us 1/11/20. My FH bday and our 10 anniversary back together. Thankfully the venue had the day and the room available.

ASAP! We got engaged a month ago and are getting married February 2020, but we secured the venue already! The place we are holding it at is pretty popular and we actually didn’t even get the date we originally wanted because it had been booked already. We had to push it out a week.

I’m on the same boat! My fiancé and I just decided on what venue we wanted yesterday and now I feel as if a burden has been lifted. Once we sign that contract I’m sure I will fee better.
