I'm Curious! What did you spend on your flowers?

Kelsey, on February 5, 2020 at 6:05 PM Posted in Planning 0 24

We just finalized our contract with our florist. We are using white roses and calla lilies with lots and lots of greenery. Our grand total was $2400 including 11 tall centerpieces of thick greenery and white roses, white rose petals to line the aisle, large statement piece for the arch, cake flowers, head table garland and flowers for 6 BM and GM plus family and my bouquet.

The florist has definitely been the one thing that has given me sticker shock so far. I still think it's totally worth it and couldn't be happier! But I do want to know, what are you spending on your flowers?

I'm sorry to say we wont be spending more than $1,000 on our flowers more like $700. We are using a friend's referral from church and using white roses, and wooden arch.

We are spending $2700 on flowers for our wedding. This includes a lot though since we are having three flower arrangements on all 14 tables. We are also getting my bouquet, 6 bridesmaid bouquets, 8 flowers for groomsmen and father in law, Three corsages, flowers for the cake, flowers for the arch we are getting married under and flowers for the flower girls.

We are paying 1400 for ours. We have 5 bouquets. 7corsages. 11 boutonnières. A ceremony arch piece. 6 ceremony vases and 16 centerpieces. A toss bouquet, flower crown and flowers for the flower girl and a couple little piece for the welcome sign guest book table and flowers on our cake. We are reusing all the flowers from the ceremony and putting them somewhere for the reception. This saved us about $500 in using the same flowers for both the ceremony and reception in some places

Our flowers are actually included in our package. We are getting married at The Ashley Castle in AZ and they have wedding packages that have it built into the cost.

I found floral quotes to be a ridiculously high waste of money for something thrown out immediately after use, so I went minimal and spent less than $250 for babies breath centerpieces, fake greenery garland and fake flowers for bouquets. I bought $5 of white roses from grocery store and made my own boutineers too. It helped that there was natural greenery around our venue's courtyard. I don't regret a thing! Honestly guests don't care about flowers. Focus on food, music and booze. I was also able to resell fake greenery online after and recoup costs!I'm Curious! What did you spend on your flowers? 1

We spent $1,189 for my bridal bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 boutonnières, 2 corsages, flowers for our welcome sign, and decor for the pews at our church. As for our reception decor, we rented silk flowers from a wedding decor company which cost about $2k for 20 small and large centerpieces, an arch, and sweetheart table decor. I wanted large floral centerpieces, but knew they would be super expensive if I got them from our florist, so we decided with silk flowers to save money.

I spending about $300 on bouquets, corsages, etc from Costco. I’m making my own centerpieces that will cost about $10 each (vase, candle, filler and rose pedals on table) which is 12 tables. So less than $500.

I am looking at $4500 for mine.

    -7 Tall, 6 Smaller Centerpieces

    -5BM, 5GM, 4 Corsages, 4 FG Crown and Baskets, 2 RB

I also need draping for both ceremony and reception. Arch, petals, and candles on the ceremony aisle.

This is the cheapest i found in my area for what I am looking for. One florist quoted me for $7000.

I think mine will be a little less than $1,200. That is for a bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaid bouquets, flowers for a wooden arch, 12 centerpieces, sweetheart table, and additional greenery for around the reception.
