We do have the option to get married in an open field at the park but the park does not allow an actual ceremony set up. Our wedding date is greatly important to us so we don’t want to change it.I dont know what to do at this point.😩

I think the open field it allows you to keep your date without having to zoom

Ugh, I'm so sorry this is happening to so many people. 😔 I feel like you have a couple options (getting married in the field, reception later, doing zoom, or pushing the wedding back a year if the month of June is important to you both). If it were me, I feel I would push it back a year because to me, having my parent and family there is important. However, with that said, I think whatever you both decide to do, will be the right thing to do in that moment. As long as you do what YOU BOTH feels right, and the love between you both is there, that's the main important thing. 💕

We're having the same kinds of issues. We're going to do a very small legal ceremony in our home and then a larger reception when we are able to.

I would do the open field because I think everyone is ready to be outside right now! I feel like a courthouse wedding is a little lack luster now days, and might add a lot of stress to try and make it feel special.

Like other people said above, an open field or someone's backyard could be beautiful! Also there might be an alternative to the zoom courthouse wedding. If you know a clergy, ask them to perform the ceremony. Or you can ask a friend to apply for a one day marriage designation (at least on my state, you have to apply at least a week in advance, can submit it online. Here government offices are still operating but not open to the public). Having someone do the ceremony is of course depending on if you can get a marriage certificate so it'll be official!
