I received a call from someone from Chef's Ware Cookware (aka Towncraft a cookware). I was told my name was drawn yesterday for a bridal show I attended in September. I won "a catered dinner for you and your fiance and 3 other married couples + $300 worth of cookware in order to claim your prize call me back within 24 hours it doesn't cost you anything and no one has to buy anything." Is this too

Good to be true? It sounds like it.

I got the same call after attending a bridal fair. I'm with Celia, it sounded fishy, so I declined.

Yeah a lot of people "win" these after bridal shows. From what I've heard, it always involves a high pressure sales pitch and the prizes have a lot of fine print.

Thanks for all of the help. Looks like I will be staying away! I don't remember entering any drawings but my guest may have. I was at the bridal show in September so it almost seems like an after thought.
