Has anyone had a dress with illusion material altered?
I bought my dress this past weekend and I love it! I got it at a clearance event, so I brought it home with me that day. The dress fits nearly perfect but the straps are too loose.
Being 5’3”, I’ve always had to have my dresses altered in the length and straps, so this was to no surprise. However, I didn’t think about how feasible this is with the mesh-like material that makes the illusion effect. the lace is just an appliqué, so I understand it can be re-attached.
