Second is more memorable and simple they can pair with other things, the top is "bulky" that many may not like. The simplicity of the first can be worn even by those that don't wear jewlery often

Also odd thought...some people don't like the word their initials come out to lol. Growing up my initials were BAD/RAD then it was BAR/RAR now it's BAV/RAV so I'm def on team no monogram lol...and if the monogram is first then last then middle as many are then my previous name would have shown as BRA/RRA which is just as awkward ha
