If dress size is 2 sizes smaller than street, can size 0 girls find women's clothes to wear at all?

There is rhyme or reason to wedding dress sizing as all are different and it’s a completely different system from street sizes which also vary from one designer to another. You won’t know until you try them on. They will measure you in the store.

Wouldn't it be the other way? If you have to go up 2 dress sizes from your street size, a size 0 would be a size 2 bridal according to what you've said.

And, if it was the other way - they'd get the smallest size the store has available and have it altered, just like most people need to do in order to get a perfect fit.

It's the other way around. Wedding dresses run small, which means any size you choose fits smaller than its street size equivalent. A wedding dress in size 2 will fit much smaller than a street dress in size 2. A size 00 woman would theoretically be a 2.

But dress sizes are arbitrary anyway.

If it was a size 0 then in wedding dresses it would be a size 2 I would get a size 0 and have alterations alter it so it fits

I’m size 00 in street size. My wedding dress is size 6… it’s from an Australian designer, so I guess their wedding dress size is even smaller than normal.

I think what she means is that one can purchase a wedding dress in a size 0. However, what size would that woman be in street sizes, as 2 sizes down in street sizes would be children's.

Sometimes I just wear 0 in street clothing as well. I've tried kids but they don't really account for butt or boobs 🤣 and they sometimes end up being bigger than a woman's 0

I'm Aussie, and an AU 6 is a US 2, so it seems about right based on what people are saying, that bridal is about 2 sizes up from a street size!

No, we buy the smallest adult size possible and alter it to fit

I'm a size 0 and my dress size was a size 2. I've never heard of or had it be the other way around. Then again, this was my first wedding dress (lol) so I'm not sure.
