Soon we have to start rebooking our honeymoon arrangements. But with the courthouse, DMV, social security office, and passport agencies closed, I'm sitting here feeling like that Carrie Underwood song.

Are you having your honeymoon directly after the wedding, or are you going well after?
I didn't change my name, so I don't know the rules, but I'm under the impression that having a copy of the license with you would help if your documents don't all match, yet.

You don’t have to change your name right away. As long as your booking matches your ID, you’ll be fine. BUT if you booked under your new name, I’m sure a phone call to the airline (or cruise) you booked through would understand your dilemma!

So I can't file the license til the courthouse opens. Then gotta wait on the social security card. Then hopefully the DMV will be open again. And passport processing too.

Our original honeymoon is scheduled under my maiden name in 3 weeks. But now we may have to push our Disney World trip back to Fall, right before our second wedding and our cruise to next January.
So I'm worried about when the offices open and how long it will take to process the name change. Plus changing my name on reservations. And I want to change my passport for free before July, because it will be free.
