I would look into Christmas Tree Shop. They have things like this, you may find what you’re looking for.

I’d rather not rent.. if I can sell them again that would be ideal. Trying to be the most cost effective as possible

Goodwill, World Market, and thrift stores might have stuff like this. Another idea is you could find glass containers version of items at the grocery store like fruit juice, vinegar, olive oil, wine, etc... things you buy normally and just wash them and remove the labels. That way the cost is technically part of regular groceries and you are upcycling/re-purposing what you would normally toss in the recycle bin.

Usually renting is cheaper. Otherwise check local florist wholesalers if you are in a major city. Glass is fragile and heavy which makes online shipping very expensive.

Thrift stores have a huge selection and you don't have to pay shipping.

I’m doing something similar! I got a ton of bottles from antique/second hand stores, hobby lobby and Christmas tree shop. With hobby lobby they normally have sales every other week on the bottles.

My first thoughts were either a craft store or a restaurant supply store. Here are some links. The first one is from Michael's and the second one is from Webstaurant, which is a restaurant supply store, but they also sell to the public. Each store also has a lot of other sizes/styles available in case you don't like those or you want a variety.

I see these all the time at farmer's markets! You could also try any kind of craft store that you have local, along with secondhand shops and the regular grocery store.

Thrift stores, dollar stores, hobby lobby and other craft stores. Between those you should be able to find a variety.

So the key search term is "bud vase" - we wanted a similar look for our wedding!

    Some options:

Check out Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and similar sites to see if any brides are offloading their wedding decor. Sometimes someone else has already done all of the work of collecting these types of things and you can just buy a lot.

You can also check eBay for lots, but I'd caution against shipping a lot of glass vases. They are heavy and expensive to ship, but sometimes you can find a local seller within driving distance.

See if you can rent these from your florist. Our florist offers this service.

Try the Dollar Store, Dollar Tree, or Michaels - or other dollar type stores and craft/hobby stores. They have inexpensive vases of various sizes and shapes. Also look at containers for wedding favors, canning supplies, etc - don't just get stuck looking at things labeled vases. Ikea, Target, and Walmart can be good options too.

Shop around thrift stores and secondhand shops. You can find vases cheap at these places! You probably won't find a whole lot of them at once, but if you have time, you can check once a month at a few places and might be able to score enough before your wedding.

Ask around - some people may have some and it's possible you can collect enough via donations or loans from friends, family, and co-workers.

Consider any food/beverage items that come in bottles similar to the shapes and sizes you want. We had to postpone our wedding and now that we have a full year I have just started collecting a mix of nice "vase" type bottles instead of putting them in recycling. Wine, beer, soda, kombucha, hot sauce, salad dressings, etc can all be a good source of bottles that double as pretty vases.
