All sorts of ideas... what is the feel/theme of your wedding?

    Some ideas:

    Silk flowers

    Sand

    Pepples

Glass rock (I can score these for CHEAP at my local Goodwill)

    Water beads

Thanks! How expensive are silk flowers? We would need enough for like 10 tables

Oh adn the vases will be clear glass, different shapes and sizes. Our venue has ones that get left behind from other weddings that we are using... so our wedding is a very casual feel!

You could do a single stem of silk flower in each vase for $3-$5 a piece I think

Edit: Some of the more DIY brides may be able to give you better prices. I am just basing on what I saw at HL this weekend.

You can find inexpensive flowers at Michael's. They run sales a lot and they seem to always have coupons

You could always add water to the vases as well. I think it adds a nice touch

I'm doing paper pinwheels for mine as a cheap alternative to flowers. I am also having some flowers, but not as much. Smiley smile

Trena, are you buying them, and if so, where?

We are doing a combination of colored glass bottle and clear vase as the main part of our centerpieces and are putting a single gerbera daisy in the bottles. These will be gathered together on a mirror with a silver table number and some scattered votive candles. We are paying $2.00 a piece for these individual flowers. Simple but elegant.

I am making the pinwheels. They are super easy with scrapbook paper, straws, and brads or tacks.

As for the flowers, I think I'm going to order some online from Costco. They have great reviews. PS, these are real flowers, not silk.
