Ideal ceremony background 1
I've always wanted to exchange vows with my FH somewhere near a volcano. I found this picture from a news article where a couple had a wedding a couple hundred miles away from an errupting volcano, and the ash, etc. flew over mear them. Regardless, its a beautiful photo and everyone was safe.

What are your ideal backgrounds/settings for your wedding ceremony?

Wow, that’s an amazing picture! My ideal location would be the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. Buuuuuut with the pandemic and travel restrictions, that is not going to happen. We are hoping to visit Prague for our 5 year anniversary instead.

Before COVID happened, did you ever research the laws with getting married in that country?

We did! Getting married in Prague is actually rather easy & they have full service wedding planners that will arrange everything for you. To be married inside St. Vitus specifically though, at least one of the people getting married must be Catholic

I always wanted to get married on a beach! FH immediately said no to that idea, as he was worried about dropping the rings in the sand lol.

I never had a specific “background” preference. So beaches, gardens, mountains or other nature environments have never excited me for weddings. I prefer indoors inside of a unique venue. Dealing with the possibility of bad weather during an outdoor wedding is really the only wedding stress to me. So I avoided it. My first wedding was indoors with floor to ceiling windows and great skyline views... and this 2nd wedding will be also be indoors inside of a cool and unconventional venue.

That is a really cool picture!

I hadn't really ever had anything specific in mind, I never really dreamed about my wedding before I got engaged. Once we got engaged and started looking at venues, my fiance and I both fell in love with the view of tall trees with a lake in the background, and we ended up finding a venue that matched that vision. I never thought I would have wanted an outdoor wedding, but the scenery was just too good to pass up!

I wanted a tropical beach wedding since I met dh. Got pregnant not long after dating. We only eloped. Now we are planning to renew our vows, but covid happens 🤷🏻‍♀️ Well, 2023 would be our 25th wedding anniversary, maybe celebrate it then? Covid doesn’t seem like going anytime soon....

We got engaged at the Mirage volcano in Las Vegas!! It is super beautiful with waterfalls too. Very romantic 🌺 our ceremony was on a rooftop and reception was outdoors overlooking Lake Erie. Always wanted a waterfront wedding 🌅
