Ice vs dry ice

We are having 2 metal troughs for beer and other drinks. No place to keep bags of ice so thinking of getting some dry ice. Only thing I'm worried about is a child grabbing some so then thought about about doing small blocks of dry ice. Input please. Wedding is in 10 days

Dry ice should only be handled with proper gloves or tongs.

Use a combination of coarse salt, water and ice to keep things cold.

@JessieJV we decided against the dry ice (thank god) And yes, we are also going to use some coarse salt.

No dry ice I also worked in a lab and it's very dangerous to handle and definitely wouldn't have it near something people are consuming, best of luck!
