We are looking to do an ice cream truck as a last minute add on for our wedding. I’m having a hard time deciding on when I should have them arrive. I was considering sometime after dinner but then I didn’t want to encourage guest to leave and head outside especially once the dance floor opens. The other option I was thinking was after the wedding as guest are waiting for their cars to be driven up (we are doing valet). Any other suggestions? If you’ve had one or planning to have one I’d love your input. Thank you!

    So fun! What about as they serve the wedding cake (if you're having one?) Or right after before the dance floor gets really started

    I agree with jessica when you cut the cake or right before the dance floor opens your dj if having one could make an announcement saying icecream truck out side feel free to go out and have some as u please ..... super cool idea

    We are hiring an ice cream company to serve as well. Our dinner starts at 6:15-6:30ish. Cater said between first course and second course will be toasts/speeches and dinner will not finish and cake cutting not complete until nearly 8. So we are having our ice cream vendor there from 8:00-9:30.

    Ohh ice cream! I’d do it when cake or whatever dessert you have starts. As a guest I would prefer to sit down and enjoy the ice cream, so I would think to go outside and then leave with it
