We originally wanted a 1920s theme. It was fun and different. Well, my body doesn't like 1920s style dresses. It LOOOVES 1950s style dresses. So, still a fun theme. Vintage/Romantic/1950s. I think it would be fun. My concern is ice cream + Alcohol.

We are doing an ice cream bar! FH doesn’t like cake so we thought it would be a good addition. Plus, who doesn’t like ice cream?!

Love it, I've seen ice cream bars before. I'm doing a nacho bar myself. Different food bars at weddings are fun

We are doing a gelato bar that has waffle cone or bowl options and three seasonal flavors with grilled peaches. And of course cake and whoopie pies.

I think that’s a great idea! My sister had an ice cream sundae bar with waffle sundaes and it was amazing. I was so happy to see that all the packages at our venue also included an ice cream bar as that’s my favorite dessert.

I recently went to a funeral with a frozen yogurt bar. I thought it was a cool idea.
They had the machine set up and a toppings bar and everything. And another local ice cream shop is always advertising that they do rentals.
I considered it when I heard it, but dairy ain't my thing, and ice cream/frozen yogurt may not go over well in March in the midwest.

I don't know how ice cream + alcohol is different than any other dessert + alcohol so I wouldn't worry!

It’s more of a substance that has that much milk content and alcohol concern.

I wouldn't worry! There is dairy in a lot of food served at weddings (macaroni, mashed potatoes, soups, ranch on salads, etc.). Maybe add another dessert like cookies?
