Hobby lobby has 50% off Wedding items every other week or so just keep a eye on it. Also looking on classifiedsGlass plates & cups dollar store - some bought some borrowed Silverware - Costco office Supply store cheaper than renting them just resaleNapkins/table cloth- bought online cheap quality but it’s cloth and about same as renting I wanted a satin because lights bounce. I really recommend a two year engagement mine was about a year or less. Buffet style is cheaper by far . Find a venue that will allow you to set up and bring in your own stuff.
I think total we ended up spending around $10,000 maybe more maybe less. $1,000- for Hotel1,500-1,700-Food 2,500- Venue500- 5 hours for a Photographer $200-300 wedding favors Gifts for parents only Family/Wedding party- $20ish eachBouquets etc. - $500 I should of made it myself it’s easier cheaper and turns out how you wantDecor- I bought pay check by pay check and borrowed stuff. If you have the money hire people to come help set up and take down. I promise you won’t regret it. I had a lot of family volunteer and show up to help. In that aspect I was blessed with my moms best friends.P.S. Pay for as much Photography and videos as you can don’t be cheap. I loved my photographer and wish I had her for the entire day.

Thank you my dress was done 3days before the wedding and still could of been altered however it was going to have to do. I was pinning zipped and buttoned in. My mom found two different dresses second hand totaling 160$. Then we cut them in half to make one dress parts my mom hand sewn after paying $$$ someone else to sew it together. All said and done we could of bought any dress for what was paid and it would of been done properly but it’s special and one of a kind that’s for sure. I don’t know what I would of done without the help from my family.
