i said yes to the dress!

I took a big leap of faith yesterday and put a deposit down on my dress through a virtual appointment. I have looked at a ton of dresses, but I kept coming back to this designer who is based in Australia. I am able to choose the silhouette, features and fabric - this will happen at my next appointment. Then I will have another appointment for someone to instruct me how to take all of my measurements. Then they actually make a mannequin to match my measurements to ensure everything fits just right. Then my next few appointments will be the actual progress of the dress being made. Finally, I have a viewing of the finished dress and they ship it to me. The whole process takes about nine months (plenty of time for me since I’m so far out).


This is what I’m planning to do. The first dress will be my silhouette. The second dress will be the fabric and bead work I choose.
