As for the veil, I think the one in the photo looks great. Did you have a vision before you found your dress for the veil? I wound up getting a patterned veil and a patterned dress and I felt like it was very over the top which I wasn't expecting to like...but then again, the one time I guess a girl can appropriately be over the top is her wedding! Do whatever feels best and right for you and your personal taste. On your wedding you should like the you-est version of YOU!

I didn't have a vision what kind of veil I wanted when I got my dress or even a vision of what kind of dress I wanted before I went shopping. All I knew is that I wanted my dress to have lace. I have another appointment with my bridesmaids so I'll have another chance to figure out which veil design I want for sure. I know that I'm going to stay with finger or knee length.

I honestly have no idea who the designer is. My consultant didn't tell me & it wasn't listed on my receipt that I got. All it said was it's a trumpet silhouette with lace appliques & beading. Who's the designer of your dress? I love your dress! It looks stunning on you!

You will probably find that plain or slight embroidery works best with the lace, unless a lacy veil is able to match and blend in with your dress once its against it. =] I think the veil you have now is beautiful paired with your dress, but only you can make the ultimate decision.
