Just Said Yes August 2020

i said yes to the dress, but

Jessica, on November 23, 2019 at 10:40 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 23
I said yes to the dress, I loved it at first and I felt womanly and was loving my curves since dropping 17lbs so far but now I'm really worried I made a mistake.

After looking at the pictures for the last 2 days I'm really not sure I can lose the weight I wanted in my chest and there is so much boobs right now?! Does is look sleezy? Not sure if there is a trick to making it less booby or if I'm over thinking how bad it looks. 🙈🤦🏼‍♀️👰🏼i said yes to the dress, but 1

Ummm first of all you look amazing!

I don't think it looks sleezy but you could always ask the seamstress if any changes could be made to make it less deep (maybe bring the sheer part up a bit??)

You have time to make adjustments

I love the dress. Usually chest area doesn't airways slim down when you're well endowed lol. From experience. Not already but if you're worried ask about alterations to cover the slit up some and I think with a veil it will look more wedding like. Rock those curves!

I think Neeva has a good idea ! Add more sheet to the deep V! My idea is to find a topper you like. I just looked online and you might be able to find a topper ?

You look amazing in that dress!! I don’t think it looks sleazy, but if it makes you self-conscious you could always have a seamstress make the top less revealing.

Beautiful! Personally it’s a bit much cleavage for me but if you love it, keep it. Your seamstress can take some material off the bottom (or remove one appliqué) to cover your cleavage just a bit more.

I don't think it's too much cleavage at all. You look gorgeous in the dress. However, if you feel uncomfortable then I agree with PPs that there are ways to cover up a little. But only do that if YOU want to, not based on what other people think.

Maybe ask your seamstress about the chest area, I don’t think it looks “sleezy” but it is revealing. The dress is gorgeous and just right, your curves make the dress all the more beautiful.

WOW!!! You look stunning. I don’t know you and I got the chills! You look like you feel so good in the dress. Your curves look amazing and you can always add an illusion across the bust so it’s covered but not fully.

Ita beautiful, not sleazy. It is quite a bit of cleavage though...but....so? If you want I would ask to have some fabric added to make it less deep..but really. You look.great

Personally, I think it's a lot of exposed chest, but if you're comfortable with it, that's your choice. In the photo, are you wearing your dress or a sample? If it's a sample, and they ordered your dress based on measurements, your dress may cover a bit more when it's in your correct size. In addition to having your alterations person perhaps add some additional fabric to the center front to give you a bit more coverage, it looks to me like the bodice is a little low on you. If the straps are shortened in the front, I think that would lift the whole top half of the dress up a little on your frame and it will likely fit better/cover a little more. Good luck!

Your dress is beautiful and you will look good in it on your wedding day. If you are worried about it being too much at the top, you can have someone add a cover to the middle part.

Some of your more conservative family members might gasp over it, but the dress looks absolutely amazing on you. I didn't really notice the bustiness of it until you mentioned it. You can always try talking o your seamstress about your options if it's an uncomfortable amount for you. Either way, you're gonna rock it!

First of all the dress is beautiful. I would probably ask the seamstress if she can put a little underlay in the boob area to cover a little more but once it’s fitted correctly it might also show less cleavage.

I think you look great! The dress is very pretty! If you’re starting to feel uncomfortable with the top, you can ask your seamstress to add a “modesty panel”.

If you’re concerned about some cleavage you could also have alterations place some lace over that area or some “mesh” for the illusion.

I think you look amazing!!! I agree with the other ladies on asking alterations to add lace or something else if you're nervous about cleavage.
