I printed the wrong date on my invites!!!

Are you willing to print the date on a label and put it on the invites? I've received an invite like that before from a bride that decided to change the date after she ordered the invites. It was ok.

What size are the invitations? And what color are they? Can you get some plain white cardstock from the craftstore to replace the ones that are messed up? How many are bad?

OHHHH no, don't use "whiteout"! Do this, and it will work out fine. Get some card stock that has a color difference from the ones you are using, but will color coordinate... like rose with white.

Print everything you need on the new card, and rubber cement it to the old card with a slight "indent" so that it looks like a picture frame matte. It will fix your problem and look classy.

I agree with tyrone. itll take a little extra work, but itll look good and be fixed for extremely cheap!

Tyrone's idea sounds great, also printing a label and putting it over the error would work too.

Well heres the problem...I thougt about replacing it with card stock...BUT...the back of the invite is card stock the vellum is the part with the print on it...and i wouldnt even begin to know where to get some from....so im still not to sure about what to do...thanks Leapoffaith,ladylee,devine2be, yadayada. thanks tyrone for the idea.it will come in handy,just in case i mess up again...thanks!!!

I used to be a paper buyer. Is it If you let me know what color vellum and size (and brand if you know), I can probably contact one of my old suppliers to find them.

Well even if they don't match the set you bought 100% nobody will know.

You can buy vellum at every craft store, like Hobby Lobby. I've used it for different things before.

IF you buy vellum to redo you invitations, please make sure you buy either inkjet or laser vellum. I had so much trouble with one wedding (she supplied the vellum), that I went to Staples and bought vellum for inkjet printers.

Paper vendors usually get paper samples for free. I can just call to see if they have any in stock they can send out. You might have to pay for shipping.
