Dress Front i love my dress but not the waist. 1

I love my dress, but I hate the part that goes around the waist, we tried covering it up (as shown in the photo) with a floral belt and I like that better, but it doesn't cover all the kind of ruched middle that I wasn't a fan of. It's the Chiffon Empire Waist one from David's if anyone has any ideas.
I'm tempted to put more fabric over it but I also don't want it to end up too busy.

You could put a belt that wraps around and around or like fabric but I think what you did in the photo looks fine.

This was my jr prom dress. Could you do something like my dress with a really large band that you do like? I hope you find something!

I have the same dress. I love the minimal detail so im not much help, my only concern w adding a belt or something is that the detail goes down the back and train as well.
