i lost my engagement ring

Did he insure it ? This is heartbreaking news. If was flushed there may be a chance that it is stick in the pipes.

Did he have any type of coverage on the ring? My husband's cousin got engaged a few years ago and his fiancee took her ring off at the gym and she lost it. He never purchased her a new one. He felt if she couldn't take care of the first one why should he buy her a new one. He also had the ring custom made for her so it wasn't like he could just go out and buy one identical to it. They still haven't gotten married and they've been engaged for 5+ years. His fiancee feels like everyone close to her has died throughout those past 5+ years so she doesn't see any point to getting married.

Oh no!! Check in your bed, in the hamper, under the bed - my sister lost hers but found it under the bed after a night of drinking. Hopefully it was insured!

Oh my goodness! Do you know for sure if it was near the toilet? When did you first notice it missing? I’d recheck everywhere you might have been touching— inside the fridge/freezer (grabbing ice?), underneath furniture/bathroom vanity, in your bedding, pockets of whatever you were wearing, etc. Maybe enlist the help from a friend to help you search who can not only be a second set of eyes and hands to look but think of exactly what you had been doing. If it was already insured, it can be replaced. If not, I would start saving to replace it!

My husband briefly lost his wedding ring a month after we got married. He had put it on a table and our cat had picked it up and we found it in the corner of a dark closet.

I bet! I can’t imagine what it felt like when it was missing.

It’s funny because it’s relatable, I have 2 cats and a dog...the cats would either bat it under a piece of furniture and/or the dog would eat it if mine ever fell off.

Not sure if they will, but my husband's cousin has cheated on his fiancee so many times that I think they would be better off going their separate ways rather than getting married.

I'm so sorry! This is such a hard situation. Are you sure you checked literally everywhere for it? The hamper, blankets, dark corners under cabinets? I'm so sorry!

Worst case scenario, can you get a new one?
