i hope he ______. That would be awesome!

Is there anything your groom or bride could do that would just make the whole day perfect? Is there anything that would be so EXTRA you'd be astonished if he or she did? For me, it would be (remember, we're having a Renaissance wedding) if he knelt down on 1 knee as he slips the ring on my finger & says, 'My one & only. My only one.' It's a phrase we've been using throughout our dating & engagement period. It means a lot to us & would make the day perfect!

I wanted the tears as I came down the aisle. He told me beforehand that it probably wouldn't happen, he's not overly emotional, that sort of thing. It TOTALLY happened. Some of my favorite pictures are the ones of H as I'm walking down the aisle.

I count any dance I'll get with my husband-to-be as a good dance!

I think he will. Men try to be all macho & so forth but on days like when they get married or when their wife gives birth, they cry just as much as we do. Pass me a tissue!

Wedding vows are supposed to be the most sincere words you ever say. I'm sure he'll need a tissue!

I hope he does part of his vows in Spanish because he's a Spanish teacher!

    I hope he shows up.

I KID I KID! I just hope he actually enjoys it. He hates weddings and doesn't understand them at all. He doesn't see what the big deal and doesn't understand why anyone wants to come to our wedding, so my hope is he will see how special and important it is and enjoys that precious moment.

That would be so cool! Would you know what he said? Would your guests? I was at a wedding between a friend of mine who's deaf & her hearing husband. They signed everything & had an interpreter to say what they signed. It was 1 of the coolest weddings ever!

    That sounds really neat!

I would be able to slightly understand - my Spanish definitely isn't the best, but I can usually understand the general idea. I don't think many of our guests would understand though. I didn't think about that!

Maybe he could say it sentence by sentence in Spanish & then English. That way everyone would know what's said & it'll be a great conversation point at the reception! Either way you do it, I'm sure it'll be great.

Now I need to go watch 'Clueless.' ...... 'As if!'

I want her to let loose and actually dance more than just our first dance. Everything else I could want from her is pretty much guaranteed.

For starters, I really like your profile picture! To ensure she dances more than just the 1st dance, you could have the DJ announces 'This is for everyone born in (the year she was born)!' or 'All my (year she was born) babies!' Just make sure that's not the only year the DJ calls out or she'll know! I hope it works!

    Thank you so much.

Since she is 14 years older than me, we will not be doing that but it is a nice idea. I think she will after a couple of drinks, but she get nervous dancing in front of people. I told her to dance like Baby Groot all night. lol
