i had my makeup trial last night and

I think she did a good job but I don't think she accomplished the look you were looking for based off the pictures. I don't see much contour or highlight.

I think what she did looks so pretty! If the bottom picture is what you have her as inspiration, she definitely needed to add more shimmer to your eyelids, but it looks really pretty on you!

What she did is very pretty on you! Love it actually.

However she went with a browner base than a pink, and Stilla glitter cream eyeshadow can transform the white areas.. look for Kitten Karma & Diamond Dust. $22.
But, it is pretty....

It looks good but I would say she went more conservative and natural than the glam look you were aspiring for.

I think she lined your lips a lot because of how they look in the inspiration picture, but I don’t think it looks bad on you. Although, the eyeshadow definitely doesn’t match and I agree you need more blush or something in the cheek area

Yeah I don't see much contour or highlight either. Her work on her instagram was great but I just was expecting more.

I think she did a good job, but agree she did not really accomplish the look in the inspiration photo. Definitely more shimmer on the eyes and a bit more contour on the cheeks!

I didn't book her yet because she has a 4 person minimum which sucks cuz my girls don't wear makeup like that and I'm not making them do anything they don't want to.

Yeah i totally agree with that. She kept saying it was glam while she was doing it but it's more conservative like you said.

Yeah I wasn't sure why the eyeshadow didn't match. She had makeup galore in her room. I think the blush was way too light on my cheeks.

I said to a PP poster she did great on her IG but i don't know what their inspo was. I was actually contemplating doing my own makeup for the wedding because of this reason.

I agree that it is a bit less than the inspo pic but overall, I think it looks great.

This is what she took. It isnt bad but not like the pic not sure if she filtered the pics or anything. But the highlight wasn't like that.

I think it looks quite gorgeous! If you wanted more glam, I'd just ask for deeper shadow and a bit more shimmer! Maybe a bit of highlight on the cheek bones, too. But overall this is a fantastic start.

Add some bling and a little more
of a pinky lip! I think it looks great! Few little things to enhance it!

She did a great job but she needs to make the contour more dramatic and use a darker shade of brown. (I worked at sephora a few years back and it happens a lot) If she is willing to do another trial if that's something you want to do I think giving her that constructive criticism would help and you would be satisfied. I understand the frustration though because she should have done this the first time

I think that you look really pretty and I love the lip color - but she definitely didn't go as intense or glam as your inspo picture (which I absolutely LOVE by the way). I think that with some adjustments she could really achieve the look that you were wanting.

I think you look so pretty. But I do notice she didn't make it as glam as you'd have liked. I think if she just adds more it'll be what you want but honestly sometimes less is more.
