i had a nightmare...

I had a nightmare.

1. In my dream, the officiant did not show up. The venue was decorated beautifully, aisle was laid. No officiant. None was coming in to take his place. Family were seated, waiting and waiting. Nothing. They never came.

2. No food. No appetizers, drinks, main courses, nothing. Guests were coming in with beautiful gifts (and plenty at that) and I remember thinking to myself in the dream "Wow, all these gracious gifts, and I don't even have food to give to them." I remember loved ones leaving the venue to go and buy the food themselves, but they never reappeared in my dream.

3. The chairs at the venue were a joke. Think chairs you would see in a kindergarten room. Horrifying, right?Smiley xd I sat in one, and was able to fit, but it was so close to the ground, but I remember thinking "at least there's chairs here."

I haven't really been stressing much about the food. In real life, we're trying to work out a good budget for our food. We intend to get our appetizers from our local grocery store/restaurant that has some really good prices. Of course, I'm very nervous about food running out, since we don't have a dedicated caterer. We have to be smart and gauge how much food we'll need. Everything else seems silly in the dream but it felt real, and I woke up this morning feeling upset. LOL!! Have any of you had a wedding "nightmare"? And what happened in it?

I have ! mine was mostly that the photographers were not really doing their thing. maybe your wedding nightmares stemmed from anxiety that's related to those dreams?

I w had several. In the first one, the cake was the wrong color, and all the decor was the opposite of what I had asked for (it was orange and yellow instead of purple and blue). Then there were were elements that we had asks specifically not to have-specifically, helium balloons, which were released at the end of the ceremony, and they all landed in the water or got tangled in something.
The second one was a bit simpler -wrong venue but correct event.

OMG, Melle! That would unnerve me! I guess I may have some anxiety to things going wrong, but I'm more worried about potential family drama and food running out. We're probably going to buy too much food in the end due to my worrying. Better than too much than not enoughSmiley heart

I had a nightmare that I could not fit into my wedding dress, that the buttons would not button up at all!!! between all of my appointments and physical therapy I haven't had the time to work out in the last week or so.

    Hi Michelle,

Wow, that is a nerve wracking dream!!! Trust me, me too! There's a gym a 5 minute walk from my home, and I've been meaning to renew my membership but with 2 small daughters, sort of hard to do !!

We have an elliptical but I have 2 small children as well a 1yr old boy and a 3yr old girl, so working out with them is pretty much out of the question lmao. Our wedding is in 5 days so I am definitely trying to make sure I don't gain any weight lmao especially after that nightmare lol
