i found my dress!

I’m so excited, I found my dress during my first dress shopping day. Was almost pressured into a dress at my very first appointment, but my amazing bridesmaids are more vocal than I am and advocated for me knowing that I didn’t want to commit too quickly to the first dress I saw. I’m forever greatful for them because my second appointment was at an amazing local shop with the best staff ever! The vibes were so much better at the second shop and I felt so good that they actually had dresses for me that I actually fit into!

(My dress is going to be ivory which is what that small square of fabric is under my waist)

    Dear Brittney,

    It's absolutely gorgeous on you! Why did you choose Ivory? I remember going into my appointment and almost insisting that we order in white, until my attendant said that "in all honesty, I only sold four white dresses in 2019. Ivory is the new white." Later on, I almost wanted to ask her how many dresses she had sold total, but was totally in love with the color once it came in. Did you or anyone else have a similar experience? Smiley xd

    I believe this dress only came in this or ivory, but I wanted ivory in all honesty. I agree that ivory is the new white. I find pure white dresses to seem almost blinding. I like the softness of ivory more, but that’s my personal opinion. Thanks!

    Yes! That’s exactly what my consultant said, that the pure white is almost like when your headlights hit snow: it’s ultra reflective, apparently!
