I found eco-friendly tiki torches!

Lacy, on November 2, 2009 at 2:23 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

I found an eco-friendly tiki torch oil made from vegetable oil, so it is renewable and it burns clean. And I can get bamboo tiki torches (which are renewable). I'm so excited! Now I can have "natural" lighting without sacrificing my eco-friendly theme. Granted, I'm sure it is less eco-friendly than solar lights, but I can get bamboo tiki torches in town, which minimizes gas consumption (which is eco-friendly).

Is there a website with information on these? They sound fantastic and I'd love to know more about them.

The 2 websites I've found so far are:

    http://www.backyardbargain.com/p-624-128-oz-eco-friendly-tiki-torch-oil-fuel-made-from-renewable-fuel-source-ships-separately.aspx

    and

    http://www.backyardbargain.com/p-602-72-inch-set-of-6-silver-mirrored-mosaic-outdoor-garden-tiki-torch.aspx

but again, I can also get bamboo tiki torches locally.
