i found a ring! Ot two.....but it’s a fashion ring

Nicole, on August 29, 2019 at 10:11 AM Posted in Planning 0 13
So I’ve been searching non stop for the perfect wedding band and have been having such a hard time. So the other night I was in the swavorski store looking for a necklace and noticed their fashion rings...and OMG two of them were so beautiful! I love them but can’t find anything similar that’s real. How much does it matter? My ring is 14k rose gold with diamonds on my band and a moissanite center stone. So I don’t know why I’m hung up on this. How much does it matter where your ring is from or what it is if it’s what you love?

Also which do you like more?

It’s up to you how much it matters. If you don’t care, no one else should! I much prefer the first photo.

I don't think it matters. The paperwork and classification for the band we picked for me is under fashion ring, it didn't matter to me. What mattered is that it was exactly what I wanted. And I like the 1st picture as well.

It doesn't matter at all to me. I also prefer the first picture.

I don't think it matters as long as the metal is real. However, Etsy has a bunch of diamond and moissanite stackable rings similar to the first picture.

So it really doesn’t matter where your rings come from. It does matter what your rings are made of if you want the same wedding rings (some don’t and prefer to get new rings as time goes on).

The thing with swarovski is that it’s crystal and crystal is temperamental. It is not good for everyday wear. Since they are fashion pieces their prongs are not well made and shear off with everyday wear. Also if anything does happen to your ring Swarovski crystals cannot be taken to a jeweler and fixed. The crystal scorch at very low temperatures and can be destroyed when trying to be sized or soldered.

I think they look so pretty and great together. Nobody would know the difference. I love the set in the first picture. They are pretty and look so good together

The first photo! It reminds me of the Tiffany collection “fashion bands”

I don’t think it really matters where you buy it. I do think you should look into what’s the ring made off. Swarovski has an excellent collection and high quality jewelry so I wouldn’t be concern about that. I personally LOVE the first one. The second one is beautiful but the proportion of how the rings fit together throws me off as is doesn’t look as one like the first one.

If you like them, it doesn't matter where it came from. Our engagement rings didn't come from a jewelry store and we are thrilled because they are unique and very us. That first picture is gorgeous!
