i fell in love with this dress!

I know that Anomalie is becoming really popular. Supposedly it's really affordable and all custom!

First, no designer worth it is going to replicate someone else’s design. That’s a huge no no in the industry. Second, be prepared that custom dresses are way more expensive and usually require more fittings. That being said, if this is really something you want, I’d see if you can find other dresses online to pull inspiration from and come up with a sketch that incorporates all the elements you want.

Well, I reverse googled the image, found the instagram post, and the girl says the top half is Hayley Paige, and the bottom half is Wtoo by Watters. So I'd start with those designers and go through their online look books, maybe there's an already-existing dress you'd like. She said in her post they took half of each dress, so obvi she had to buy both dresses.

I got my dress at Kleinfeld and loved it there, they can definitely make something custom for you, but it's going to cost $$$$. I've seen them take half of 2 dresses and make them one on SYTTD numerous times.

Yeah, the top half is definitely the Hayley Paige Halo dress. I know she does similar flowy bottoms to this one, but would have to custom make it with the top of the Halo dress. A store like Kleinfeld's would definitely do it. Just be prepared to pay upwards of $4-6K, if I had to guess.

I know Hayley Paige is more on the expensive side. I think the Halo dress alone, when I was looking last year, was like $2700. I'm just assuming that taking off the skirt, adding a new one, customization and alteration fees would push it up to that level. Hayley Paige is a part of JLM Couture. Maybe email them and see what they say/recommend?

Honestly, you should just go to Kleinfeld and talk to them about options. The Hayley Paige Halo dress is only listed at $2K on their site, they could take some layers out of the skirt and make it more a-line and less ballgown. Robin Paris was my consultant, she really knew her stuff.

I know a bridal shop in the Greenwich area (not too far from LI ) that does custom dresses! Not to step on @MFB's toes, Kleinfeld is amazing if you have the budget... this place is a small mom and pop shop (five generations of this family are in the shop), and they will work within your budget - Exclusive Bridal Shop

I'll actually be going here for my alterations and my sister bought her dress here...

I tried on the Hayley Paige dress that the top is from and it was gorgeous (I ended up with another HP!) The skirt on the Halo isn't even that poofy!

Seem's like you've gotten a lot of opinions Sabrina. I'd say go try on some similar and maybe even talk to a local seamstress, you may be able to create something just as beautiful if not more, and it'd be custom! ...you can look for a lace that you like and then that bottom seems simple enough to make.
