I do? I will? Wedding Vows =)

So I know we talk about music, shoes, DIY, dresses, and everything other little detail which I love hearing and seeing. But what about Vows? Are you writing your own? Pullin the paper out your bra/pocket? Picked special ones from websites or making up your own. Are you using unity candles? Or sand? I am interested in what everyone has/is doing so I can get an idea. I only been to one wedding back in May so I am inexperienced at variety and originality. Thanks to all who answer.

We are doing the unity candle. I was at a wedding last week where they blew out the 2 small candles after lighting the big one but we are keeping them lit because to us it symbolizes that even though we are a family together we still appreciate who we are as individuals and where we came from. As for I do vs. I will, it is my understanding that I do is present tense but saying I will means you promise for the rest of your life.
