That is such a good idea! Unfortunately, my wedding is at a venue where I'm not sure how close the chairs will be so I can only guess about that. I still like your idea & with you & yours all the best ..... at your wedding that's perfectly timed with the music!

My FW gave me a funny look the first time I mentioned that. Now she is totally on board after one of our entrance songs got stopped at a weird place when my son was playing with his phone.

I spent hours listening to our songs over and over to eliminate the ones that were actually pretty wrong when I paid attention to the words. I think my last minute "We CAN'T forget this" is the corkscrews for the wine and something to keep my big thighs from rubbing raw under my dress.

I had the thigh problem recently. Then I saw these things called 'chafe guards'. They're elastic lace bands that go around your thighs. You can get them on Amazon. They're kind of pricy but you can get them in different colors & meassuerments to fit you more comfortably. I hope this works for you!

Knowing the lyrics is important! I thought I found a song I wanted during our reception but the lyrics were all about giving her up so she could have a better life. Not what we want! LoL

Oh, that is exactly what I found. And FW is thrilled to know what's going to be under my skirt. lol

And some are pretty derogatory or creepy when you listen to the lyrics. I have no idea how we were all ok with some of it back in the day. lol

I'm wearing the dress, but she doesn't do dresses anymore so she had a beautiful grey suit made. Her bow tie matches the neckties we bought for our best men.

That sounds great! Some women just don't like dresses & that's perfectly fine. There are lots of other options. I'm sure you'll both look fantastic!

The chub rub protection is definitely something I would have forgotten. These forums are seriously the best

Right?!? I totally forgot about it because I usually wear the spanx that go all the way up to my bra and down my thighs, but I can't do that with my wedding dress because of the corset. I would have been hurting for sure if not for these forums.
