Hungry Hungry Guest

Hey guys,

I'm getting married in the middle of the forrest and when I say middle I mean 2 hour drive into the wilderness with no McDonalds in sight. I want to give my guest snacks before the ceremony starts because I don't want any rumbling tummies interrupting our officiant. What snacks do you guys thing they would enjoy?

Omg best idea ever !! Haha I’m a snacker so I know I would soooooo appreciate this. Lol. I would say maybe something that doesn’t “crunch” haha for those loud chewers. Unless you have a station set up and then everyone be done eating for when the ceremony starts.. like cheese and crackers and fruit? Or mini/finger sandwiches ?

I agree with the cheese and crackers and fruit! Basically any little finger foods! Or foods that could easily be put on skewers! Anything you don’t need a plate/silverware for!

I've got a similar situation! We're an hour up a mountain for a sunset ceremony. We've got several notes on our website saying "hey just a reminder that we'll be eating dinner late" so that they can plan accordingly, but we plan to smuggle a bit of cheese/fruit/crackers to the chapel so people can keep up their appetite before dinner

It sounds like it's going to be a beautiful ceremony! 😍 Maybe some of those little variety chip packs, granola bars, I'd even throw in some slim Jim's 😂😂 I think it'll look cool with a basket full of "camping" type snacks and a cute little note about we're preparing for the journey lol!

In addition to PPs' suggestions, I would look into a trail mix bar for guests to make their own combinations!
