How/Where to put Website Online RSVP option in Invites package?

Will you be paying for and putting the postage on the cards? Is it a lot easier to have people RSVP through the website? If not, I fear you are going to be wasting a lot of money on unused postage.

I would put some verbs in the second line, like "Go to XYZ.com or mail back this card." It might be a little clearer.

Are you concerned about double responses? Do you have a way to keep track of that without making yourself crazy?

Does you invite package come with a flat card option that can be used as a postcard? They will cost less than envelope stamps.

What is the rest of the wording? Was it just those two lines? If they are mailing back as an option you need a more traditional wording too.

Some people may not have access to a computer. You may want to provide a phone number too. You can get a google voice number that is forwarded directly to a voicemail message.

Check it out vistaprint, they have lots of fonts. You can take out the reserved seat line if you don't think you need it. If you need it, write in the number before you mail them.

@Mary P. - Yes, there will stamped RSVP envelopes & the Online option.

The reason is that we will have guests that are NOT PC savvy. The flip side is that procrastinators can come in right at the deadline to RSVP.

Double counting shouldn't be a problem IMO.

Yes even in the 21st century!

What we did is we actually had two versions of our RSVP cards. For people that we felt were likely to not be very PC-savvy, or might look askance at a non-traditional way to RSVP, we sent traditional RSVPs with return envelopes. For those that we knew were comfortable with a computer, we simply put the online RSVP on the RSVP card with no return envelope.

It got a bit complicated to keep track of who was getting what, but it seemed like it worked well thus far...

@CK. I know. I have family that doesn't own computers, which is why I included my phone #. They'll survive...or ask relatives who DO have a computer. Either way, they all own telephones of some sort. (Even my FILs, who still have a rotary phone...no cordless in their house!)
