How will your groom get to the alter?

Grandparents and parents are sat... Then the officiant walked down and DH and them GM processed behind her.

He will be walking in with his mom

Mine is most likely walking in with both his parents. I'm walking in with my mom (my father has never been part of our family, so just my mom.)

I think FH will ask his sister to walk with him. (Their parents are both gone, unfortunately)

Mine is walking his mom down, then staying up there. I think we will have the GM's go first, then FH and FMIL, then the BM's will follow.

My FH is escorting his mom down the aisle.

Before I met and got engaged to FH I'd always thought my mom would walk me down the aisle (like Catherine, my dad's never really been in the picture). But as the years went in I liked the idea of walking alone (being a strong independent woman who don't need no man!). Then I read online somewhere about walking down together but never mentioned it to FH. Until one night a couple weeks ago he brought it up himself. Great minds do think alike, I suppose.

(Except for him telling me he needs to do all the planning since I apparently suck at it. Everything I've showed him that I like, he hates. But I also had to change my entire vision of the big day since he HAS to have a tropical theme. But that's another story.)

This might be a silly question, but for you ladies who have your FH escorting his mom down the aisle, what is his dad going to do? Will he walk in alone? Will he not walk in at all?
