Our friends and families like to have a good time and the closest hotel is 20 minutes from our venue so we booked a bus to do a shuttle service back to the hotel. Our friends and families like to have a good time and the closest hotel is 20 minutes from our venue so we booked a bus to do a shuttle service back to the hotel. We are going to put it in our wedding website in addition to word of mouth because we have a good amount of family members we don't see incredibly often as they live out of town. Not that everything wedding related needs to be a poem, but is there a cute/ nice way to put it to emphasize that we want people to use this on the website? We really just want everyone to be safe

I don't think you need to tell adults not to drink and drive. Providing a shuttle is a great way to give them the option to not drive, and personally we always take that option when offered. Just let people know there is a shuttle and leave it at that.

I did the same thing - encourage guests to take cars to the hotel after the ceremony and take my shuttle to the reception. On the wedding website I included that it was Homecoming weekend for the local university, so there may be DUI checkpoints around town (which was true). I also made welcome bags for the hotel and put a copy of the shuttle schedule in the bags, as another reminder that people could take the shuttle TO and FROM the venue.

All that said, my venue was only two miles from the hotel, so quite a few people still carpooled anyway, since it was easy to swing by to pick up a car later.

We are having taxi service available on our wedding day. So on our wedding website I put in a note that says "We have arranged for local taxi service to be in the area and ready for transport" and then I put the taxi info. I also plan on including this in their welcome packets. You can let the hotel know what the plan is too so that guests don't call for a taxi ahead of time.
