How to wear Engagement ring during Ceremony

I wore mine on my right hand and switched it after the ceremony.

I'm probably just going to wear mine on my left hand like usual and then just switch my rings around after the ceremony.

I will wear mine on my right hand, alongside my grandmother’s wedding band, and then switch my engagement ring back to my left hand after the ceremony.

I like the idea of FH placing my wedding band in the correct spot, so I don’t mind moving my engagement ring around (it’ll only be for a few minutes, after all).

Do what makes you most comfortable!

I have been thinking about this too. I might wear mine on my right then just move it over.

I put it on my right hand right before and then covered the wedding band with it right after. i doubt anyone noticed.

Following will probably wear it on my right hand as well. And switch the left hand along with my wedding band as I wear it as an enhancer.

Correction I wear my Mom's wedding band as a enhancer for my ring.

I'm not sure yet. I think it will depend on the wedding ring I get. I really want a ring guard/enhancer whatever they're called. If I end up with one, I'll definitely have them both put on. If not, I'll probably just leave my e ring on my left hand unless my fingers slim out a bit because it doesnt fit well on my right hand.

I have to wear mine on my left bc it doesn’t fit on my right. I’m gonna just switch the band later.

I have a family ring that I have worn on my right ring finger since I was 18, so that finger is not free for me. I will wear my e-ring like normal and then ill switch them after the ceremony.

I’m going to wear mine like normal (it doesn’t fit on any other finger!) and just switch it after the ceremony.

My ring only fits on my left hand so I will leave it there and then once we are married will switch the band and engagement ring around since I want the band on the bottom.

Mine either. I thought it was just me!

As of now I love my engagement ring and don't want to add to it so I will be using the same ring as my bridal ring. I will take it off prior to the ceremony then put it back on during.

That's what I'm planning on doing too!

I will have the Engagement ring on, and as I hand the flowers over to my MOH I will slip
ring to other finger- then FH can place band and it onto ring finger.... or
i will wear it and have him put band on top and then switch them around at reception or sometime....

My e ring is a claddah so it is not the most traditional but I absolutely love it. When my fh bought it he also got one, the plan is to wear them on our right hands after we get married.
