How to stop Uninvited people from from attending your Wedding

Let me know how this works out for you all.

I had at least 3 uninvited guests when the people that brought them could have just asked first! One I had just spoken with the morning of the Wedding. She could’ve asked then. She also could’ve left her 3️⃣0️⃣➕year old Daughter at home!

***Regardless of the situation these guests should have absolutely been in touch with you to either clarify what the plus one situation was or to ask you personally if it would be OK for them to invite a significant other you might not have been aware of.

I had 2 people let me know that they needed to bring a new spouse (I was not aware of the new marriage) and a serious SO (I had not heard about this person until the invitation was sent).

***Why do people fail to realize that it is NOT okay to add guests to someone else’s list without consulting the host(s)?!

They might subscribe to “It's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission”, However, I feel that it’s better to ask when you’re planning to spend someone else’s 💵‼️

I always make sure to ask before I just bring a person to someone else’s event.

I still have not received an apology (I’m certain that they’ve heard that I was upset) or a 🎁.
