How to Secure a Bouquet as a Centerpiece

Mariah, on August 1, 2019 at 1:45 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 5

My bouquet is made of sola flowers with a huge cascade. I'd love to have it laying flat on our sweetheart table with the cascade flowing over the edge of the table for our centerpiece. However, I cannot figure out how to secure it so it won't be falling off the table or moving somehow. I can't use a vase since it'll be horizontal. The weight of it may be around 3 lbs with the greenery and a couple succulents. Does anyone have an idea of how to go about this?

Not really sure, just spit balling here, but would command strips work?! Like the Velcro kind. They're easy to apply, hold very well, and easy to remove. Not sure how it work work on a table cloth, but I can't really see it ruining it. Maybe I'm crazy lol

Keep me updated on how it works! I find command strips to be SO useful for so many different things. They are my go to for random problems. I also use paper clips and safety pins to "fix" stuff a lot LOL

I definitely think command strips can do the trick. Worst come to worst try the hooks and make little loops on the bouquet so it'll easily go onto the hooks!
