How to renew vows and re-do ceremony at a covid reception?

Hi everyone! My fiance and I are were supposed to have a wedding with 150 people in Napa on 9/12/2020 and because of COVID, we are now having a small intimate ceremony. We are having our reception next summer and are in a bit of a dilemma #covidbrideprobs. We really want the moment and photos of us walking down the aisle, standing up with our bridal party, and us in front of our friends and family - but we're not sure what the ceremony would consist of.. since we'd already be married and what not. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions or ideas of what we could do besides reading our vows? Thank you!

Hey there! So we are doing the same thing. We decided to re-do the ceremony. There’s. I law that says you can’t. While we can’t get “married” again but we can definitely redo the ceremony. We will do a candle lighting or sand pouring in place of signing the license.

Exactly! We even though about having our own vows since we just did the traditional vows in our intimate wedding. Something to add for the big day to make feel a little more special.

Although I have been hinting at this cute little stackable ring to get me through this sadness I have been feeling. I also add “this sure would be nice for a small wedding gift when we finally do get to have our big day 😁”. Lots of holidays between now and our probably postponed again wedding. 🤣 Good luck!!
