Nicholas, on March 5, 2023 at 10:46 PM Posted in Account Support 0 4

We are having a buffett for are reception and do not want protein options to pick from. How do I block or remove that option when the guest reserve?

I'm not sure what you're asking. Wouldn't you just tell the venue not to serve those things? Also, why would you need to reserve choices in advance for a buffet reception? You wouldn't have to mention anything to guests about the menu in advance.

Are you talking about a website that defaults to certain options?

When my guests use the RSVP section for wedding wire, it gives them a drop down menu of items to choose from but we don't want to use that feature since we're having a buffet dinner.

Sorry, I didn't see you posted under forum support. I found a link to these instructions in an older thread:

    • "- Login to your WeddingWire account

    • - Hover your cursor over 'Planning Tools' and click ‘Guest List' from the drop down options

    • - Click into the wedding event you would like to disable meal tracking for

    • - Click the blue 'Settings' text on the right side of the screen

    • - Uncheck the box next to 'Track Meals' and click the blue 'Save' button

Once Meal Tracking has been disabled for a wedding event, your guests will no longer see the option to choose a meal for that event during the RSVP process. If you still need assistance please reach out to our support team at help@weddingwire.com!"
