.... and no I am absolutely not talking about my fiancé! 😂.... i’m talking about my veil… I purchased my veil online and it is actually quite beautiful. I was honestly expecting to just buy it to simply see the quality of it and then expected to just throw it away because I was 99% sure that I wasn’t going to like it. Well I actually really do like it and it is actually very gorgeous for the price. I can honestly compare it to the $700 veil I tried on at the bridal boutique. The only issue is that it is quite stiff. I feel like if I can soften the material up a bit it will be absolutely perfect.
I was thinking about throwing it in the washing machine on warm water… Has anyone else done this to their veil? Any tips on how to possibly soften it up?? At this point I refuse to spend hundreds in a veil as I will only be wearing it for the ceremony and immediately taking it off right after.
