How to put meal restrictions in the rsvp option?

Alex, on June 19, 2019 at 10:09 PM Posted in Account Support 0 10

Hi! How can I add another option in the RSVP part where in they can mention their meal restrictions like, if they're lactose or allergic to seafood? Thank you in advance for your help! Smiley smile

You can add dietary restrictions with a line so people add if any. Those who have it would understand.

I can’t upload my RSVP card but we had an “Allergies” line. A lot more gluten, dairy & nut allergies than expected so we changed our first course (fancy salad with goat cheese & candied pecans to a simple garden salad).

We just added a line that said Dietary Restrictions and those that needed it wrote it in. Lucky our venue is super accommodating. They will do gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, everything. We have a few pescatarians so they will get salmon instead of the chicken and steak. If they cant have the soup (Italian weddi g) they will get an alternative that meets their needs. It's been awesome working with the venue. They just need the number, guest name and where they are sitting!

We had a line on the RSVP asking guests to list dietary restrictions on the back of the card.

We didn't put it on our invitation, but any guests who had a dietary restriction were very good about reaching out to us directly. A few vegans, a couple with wheat allergies, etc. I feel like anyone who is on top of their situation would reach out to tell you something like that even if it's not on the invitation Smiley smile

But if there is room on your card, adding a little line that says "dietary restrictions" or something like that definitely can't hurt! Smiley smile

I'd put a line for "food restrictions" or "food allergies"!

I had space just for people to check mark and write if they have dietary restriction

Hi Alex! You can add text to your RSVP page to request that guests leave dietary restrictions or allergies in the comment box in the last step of the RSVP process. This information will then be added to your Guest List and will also be sent to you via email.

Hi Alex! When your guests go to RSVP, there is already an additional comments box that appears for them to add a note with their RSVP. You can test this out by pretending to RSVP as a guest and moving through the RSVP flow!
