How do I find out if I even can get married right now? Is there a way to get a hold of a live person to find out if I can get a license in Sac county? Who can I ask these questions when nothing is open? and if they will do courthouse weddings or if I can do the wedding in another county with looser guidelines? How do I find out if permits are needed/possible to have a very short ceremony and photos with 7 people (counting bride, groom, officiant, and photographer) at a local park and is it possible to get them?

It looks like Sacramento County has limited marriage services available, and you can complete an online marriage application and schedule an appointment:
