How to pick out complementary jewelry?

Eri, on November 24, 2019 at 9:11 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 4

I'm really struggling with this for some reason and seem to be finding conflicting advice online. Show me your wedding jewelry!

My dress has a curved V neckline and lots of ornate beading/lace up top. I plan on wearing my hair mostly down, or half up, half down, with some sort of pretty hair piece.

For earrings, I'm debating between cluster studs and something more dangly.

Not sure if I need a necklace or if that would overpower the dress. I'm leaning towards no necklace.

Bracelet - on the fence about this one. I don't want to wear anything that would possibly get caught on my dress, since the beading and lace goes pretty far down.

I'd love to see what you wore/are planning on wearing, especially if you have a more ornate gown or wore your hair mostly down.

Thank you!

How to pick out complementary jewelry? 1 My dress was an all lace dress. I wore jewelry made by GraceAndHudson.com. How to pick out complementary jewelry? 2
The owner/designer wants someone to see the bride, the dress, THEN the jewelry. I wore a very simple and subtle drop necklace with matching earrings in a light pink.

My dress had lace and some 3d pieces. I only had earrings (besides my rings lol). I had all my hair down so you couldn't always see my earrings. I just felt having any other jewelry on me would take away from the dress or just look too much.

Wow, you look gorgeous! I love the philosophy of seeing the bride, then the dress, then the jewelry - and that was definitely true in your case. Smiley heart Thank you so much for sharing! I hadn't heard of that website before.

This is super helpful as well! You look lovely! Adore the detail shot too. I feel a lot better about potentially going without a necklace now. Smiley smile
