How to notify guest of a date change

Princess, on July 1, 2020 at 12:34 PM Posted in Planning 0 11
Hey Everyone,

This is my first time posting on here, I wanted to know how can I share that my wedding date has changed? The date was set for Aug 22, 2020 however due to COVID 19 we decided to postpone everything to next year August 2021.

My cousin and his soon to be wife sent out save the new dates. However if you don’t want to incur that expense, you could always reach out to the people that you sent save the dates to individually

I sent out new save the dates/resave the dates. You can also contact people directly via email or phone as well if you want to go that route.

I think I will do it via email because it’s the same way I sent out the link for folks to rsvp about the wedding

If you have a wedding website, definitely add the information there! If your original date was soon or if you have a smaller guest list, you may want to reach out to people directly through phone, email, in-person, social media, etc. Otherwise, a "Change The Date" card is a good idea!

Hey same situation here went from September 2020 to June 2021. What I actually did was notify the ones I could and that were further away. I actually purchased new save the dates on VistaPrint. It actually says Change the date on them. Just mailed it out to everyone. I am sure everyone is understanding due to the current circumstances.
