How to make the seating chart into a poster that can be displayed?

GoodMOB, on April 23, 2018 at 10:06 PM Posted in Planning 0 14

Aaack! 4 days to go, and the seating chart is finally all finished on All Seated. I had a vague idea that we would just print a chart out somewhere, and I've seen some on Pinterest. But, what is a pretty quick/fairly easy way to get the seating chart printed onto the size of a small poster? It's really just assigned tables, for 150 people.

Just HELP!!!

I'd create a Publisher document (although I know others prefer different software applications) and have it printed at a local shop

I got a design from Etsy, input all of my names, and then had them printed at Office Depot! I then framed them in a cheap black frame from Amazon.

You can usually get things printed on FedEx office pretty quickly. You can order online and there are local shops they can printed at where you can pick up in person. I think Staples has a similar service, good luck!!

Fedex, Kinko or Staples can print it for you.

Another idea if you don’t want to print poster size is to divide into several standard letter size documents and frame those.

There are tons of templates on Etsy for $14-$16. You just download, input names, save, and send to the printer! PaperDainty is one of my favorite shops on there!

If you’re going to make a chart and frame it, make sure there’s a place to hang it or an easel to prop it up on. Check with the benuecas they often have easels for this purpose.

I didn't want to do that so I'm doing cards. However, I agree that you can take it to FedEx (Staples) or Office Depot and have it printed.

Sorry, i meant to say “check with the venue because they often have easels.”

I'm doing this right now too. I just googled and office depot is half as expensive as fedex ($45 vs $85. I'm looking at a foamcore poster.

I think it was about $8 for the design and maybe $20 to print!
