Do a fun date night in!

Watch a movie, make a picnic, read a book together, do a couples shower/bath/massage, go for a walk, see if there are free art shows/performances in the area!

Well first off, you don’t need to spend any money to have a good time together. My FH works nights and crazy amounts of OT, so we make every minute we have together count the best we can. To me, it’s in the little things- like waking up to a good morning text or cooking him his favorite meal just because it’s his favorite. Some of our “cheap” dates have been the best- family bike rides, hiking, walking around downtown to enjoy holiday lights (wrong season now, but...), watching a movie together and cooking a fancy dinner, free days at the zoo/museums/aquariums/botanical gardens/etc, local festivals and free outdoor concerts, etc.
Finances are one of the biggest stressors on couples, I can completely empathize. Make sure you’re both on the same page and set goals you can work towards together. Good luck!

We've done Google search for free things to do in (city name). If you don't live in a bigger city one might be close. We've even just taken a midnight drives to talk and listen to music. Nothing beats a change of scenery to relax and reconnect.

I find that when things are not how we used to be I make a nice dinner (his favorite food) then I make little coupons books Like one body massage that can be redeemed at anytime the coupon is presented and you can do some naughty things as well 😉 it helps bring us together and don’t cost anything but your attention

FH and I are always broke. We do lots of things together that don't cost a ton of money.

He loves to cook, so a lot of our time together is him making dinner and then us just watching whatever strikes our fancy. We also do picnics, very cheap theatre, free park theatre, we keep meaning to do game nights..., street fairs...

We've taken long drives together at night and just sat and talked. Those 1001 questionairres are great and silly conversation starters

We play a lot of board games! Not sure if that’s something you would enjoy or not but it makes for a great date night! Check around and see if you have any board game cafes (they let you play games for free) or you can usually find games at thrift stores/yard sales.

Check for free events to do around your city.
Have a picnic in the park.
Get dressed up and have a candle lit dinner at home.
Go camping for a day or two.
Have game nights and a not electronic night.
    Invite friends over for dinner.

Do you guys have an common interests or activities you like or can do together? For example, my FH are gym rats so we always work out together every day and cook together new healthy recipes. We are also casual gamers so we play videogames together. We also do things with our pets just simply taking them on walks, to the dog park or playing ball together.
